Six implants can support a fixed prosthesis for one jaw. This does not mean six individual replacement teeth. The dentist selects the design and implant positions according to the bone, bite and prosthetic plan.

Temporary and final teeth belong to different treatment stages. Whether a fixed temporary prosthesis can be used immediately is assessed individually.
The SDC price list shows €5,790 for “Teeth on six implants (6 implants and temporary teeth)”. This item covers six implants and temporary teeth; the final prosthesis is not listed as part of this item.
Before treatment, request a complete estimate, including diagnostics, any extractions, additional procedures and the final prosthesis. Current fees are in the SDC price list. You can also discuss payment in instalments.
Daily cleaning of the implants and prosthesis and follow-up visits are required. Possible risks include surgical complications, implant failure, tissue inflammation and prosthesis repairs. Tell the dentist about smoking, medicines and medical conditions.

The price-list item specifies six implants and temporary teeth. Discuss the final prosthesis and any other necessary procedures in the treatment estimate.
This is determined after examination. The need for additional procedures cannot be judged from the number of implants alone. A sinus lift may be considered in the back-tooth area of the upper jaw.
